Local Insect - Ladybug Pupa


Found this morning on a spearmint leaf in the back yard.  Not unlike a butterfly, the ladybug goes from an egg to a larva to a pupa to the familiar little red bug we all know and love. I was lucky enough to catch sight of this pupa and figure out what it was.
