Babelfishing Poetry: Lula, Lula, Lula! (I Do Not Silly)
Here's more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This time it's the Kinks' classic "Lola." (Hilarious video here.)
Lula, Lula, Lula! (I Do Not Silly)
I met an old Soho drinking club
where he had champagne
and Coca-Cola.
Coca-Cola taste Coca-Cola.
And Coca-Cola save me
and talabni dance.
I asked her name
and voice dark brown,
and said: "Lula, Lula, Lula!
Ha, ha, ha, ha!
Number."
Ah, I am not this person
in a physical world,
but when pressed firmly against me,
this is close to my body?
Oh, no!
Ha, ha, ha!
But does not.
Ah,
I do not silly.
But I do not understand
why it behaves like
a woman and a man talking.
Oh, no!
Ha, ha, ha!
If you so, ha, ha, ha!
But less.
(More Babelfishing here.)
