Babelfishing Poetry: Dance

Babelfishing Poetry: Dance

It's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem. Let's see, what happens when I run David Bowie's "Let's Dance" through 5 or 6 languages?

Dance

Dance,
wore red shoes
and dance the blues.

Dance to the song
playing on the radio.

The color of light on your face,
a blank space
to influence the crowd,
can influence change.

If you run this example,
I'll go with you.
And if you say
you hide your breath.

The head of two people damaged
because of my love for you.

Tremble like a flower
in his hands.

Fall.
