Babelfishing Poetry: Darlene Lang

It's Christmas Day, and time for a special edition of Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, play with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

So today it's the traditional carol "Deck the Halls" getting the Babelfishing treatment (this video takes a few liberties with the song, but it's pretty cute ).

Darlene Lang

Darlene Lang is a branch of thorns.
Desktop printer room, football.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Tess will be the season jolly,
La la la la union, la la la la.

Now we have to wear gay.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Christmas is the birthday
of Christ midget sidekick.
La la la la union, la la la la.

View our pre-Christmas holiday light bulbs.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Harp joined the chorus.
La la la la union, la la la la.

According to my airflow measures,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
the festival said, "According to
the birth of Jesus Christ,
I treasure the retailer."
La la la la union, la la la la.

Quick years.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
New Men's and Women's barrage.
La la la la union, la la la la.

Sing along with happiness,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
heedless of wind and time.
La la la la union, la la la la.

(Who is Darlene Lang, and how in the world did she appear in this Babelfished poem? )
