It's time again for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, tweak the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
Today it's The Hollies' complicated song "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress" getting Babelfished, and coming out sounding rather philosophical (video here).
Piracy in the Western Part of Boozer
Saturday night I was the center.
Who works for the FBI?
A man standing in the wrong nest.
A bottle of whiskey
and a big pile foundation
blamed piracy in the western part of Boozer.
Who made a lot of people wrong?
Just call the disabled.
And when I heard this woman sing 45,
yes, I opened my eyes.
My temperature began to rise.
It's a cool woman wearing
a long black dress,
5' 9", beautiful hair.
Look at it as an evil,
ensuring that women have
long been cold everywhere.
