Babelfishing Poetry: A Good Day To Restart

Babelfishing Poetry: A Good Day To Restart

It's Friday and time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, play with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

Today it's Billy Idol's "White Wedding" getting run through half a dozen languages (parody video here [EMI seems to have blocked the original video in the US]).

A Good Day To Restart

Hey brother, how are you?
Hey sister, just one?
Hey brother, what's your Superman?
Hey brother, can I take one?

Hey little sister, shotgun!
Hey sister, you were like,?

Tiny girls
are opposed to what I do;
I want!

Hey sister,
the gun --
Oh yes!

Hey little sister, who is superman?
Hey little sister, shotgun!

It was a good day to restart.

This was a good day
to attend the wedding
on time.

It was a good day to restart.
