Babelfishing Poetry: Well, I'm Late
Is it Friday already? How did that happen?
Anyway, that means it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, play with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
Today we delve back into the distant annals of 1969 to perform our multi-language experiment on Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home" (video here [advisory:contains NSFW image at 0:18 (image of controversial original album cover art); G-Rated live version from 2008 here]).
Well, I'm Late
You can leave your body,
just come down from the throne.
Someone is changing.
It is expected
that over long periods,
people wear the keys.
Well, I'm late,
I do not
have time.
Dano was unable to find
a way to my house,
and I wasted.
