Babelfishing Poetry: 'Griffonnage of the Yankee'

Are you ready for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, convolute the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem?

Yes? You are? Ah, splendid!

So, in honor of the upcoming Independence Day holiday, let's see what happens to the traditional song "Yankee Doodle" when run through the mangler known as Babelfish (watch video of a fife and drum corp rendition here).

Griffonnage of the Yankee

Griffonnage of the Yankee went to London,
rose to the colt.
That strongly tied the pen
to the means of the helmet,
raised tubular powders with.
Those keep griffonnage
from the Yankee
of the leather
of the rind.
American Dandy of griffonnage
is fussy about food, notes and stage,
and girl is handy.

("griffonnage"!! *giggle*)
