Babelfishing Poetry: "If At Any Time"

OK, boys and girls, ready or not, it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, nudge the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

Today it's the Talking Heads' iconic 1981 hit, "Once In A Lifetime" (watch geeky hipster David Byrne flail and spasm his way through the video here).

If At Any Time

You can shoot
in a cabin of your life.
You may be
in another part
of the world itself.
You may find
(behind the wheel of his car)
the beautiful house.
You can find yourself
a beautiful wife.
You might think:
"Well, how can you, here?"

Leave to go. Let me stand.

Some days
go to the flow
of groundwater,
in the blue again,
in the money.
Once in life,
and the water flow.

You might think: "How?"
You may ask yourself:
"Where are those big cars?"
You say to yourself,
"This is my home beautiful."
You say to yourself,
"This is my pretty woman."

Leave to go, and then
I stop the water.
Some time goes by.
Groundwater flow
in the blue again,
in the money.
Once in life,
and the water flow.

You say to yourself:
"God, what did you do?"

Well, if at any time.
If at any time.
If at any time.
If at any time.
If at any time.
If at any time.
If at any time.
If at any time.
If at any time.
