Babelfishing Poetry: "I Heard Sad"

Babelfishing Poetry: "I Heard Sad"

Wahoo, it's Friday! (Barely, where I am, but it is. ) Are you looking forward to the weekend? Me too. And are you looking forward to more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, modify the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem? If so, you are in luck!

Today it is Warren Zevon's 1978 hit "Werewolves of London" getting Babelfished (listen to song here).

I Heard Sad

I saw the list in his hand --
werewolf, living in the streets
of Soho in the rain.
And I have been looking
for a place called Li Hefu
to get a big dish of beef
according to Min.

Yeah.

Ooooo,
werewolf in London.
Oh. Well!

Yeah.

Ooooo,
werewolves of London.
Oh. Well!

Twisted around the kitchen,
I heard sad.
It is best
not to let a little old lady
in the Thursday evening hours.
Agent said that he felt the peace,
who ran rampant in Kent.
I recently heard that Mayfair.

It is recommended
to stay away from him.
I will tear his lungs, Jim.
Hmm! I have to meet,
I want to adjust.

Ah, I see the Queen's 20km walk,
werewolves of London.
I saw a werewolf drinking
a Weikelanmu wine merchant.
And his hair is perfect.

Yeah.

Ooooo,
werewolf in London.
Oh. Well!

Yeah.

Ooooo,
werewolves of London.
Oh. Well!
