Babelfishing Poetry: 'I Have A Nervous'

Babelfishing Poetry: 'I Have A Nervous'

Friday! Hello, hello, hello! Would you like to see some more Babelfishing Poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, nudge the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem? You would? Well, you're in luck!

Today we put Huey Lewis & The News' big hit "I Want A New Drug" through the Babelfish process (watch the video, in all its 80s glory, here).

I Have A Nervous

I want to hurt me a New Testament.
I scratched my car in a day or three.
Feet thick feel.

I want a new drug.
Nobody hurts my head.
One of my mouth is very dry
or very red.
My eyes can make.

I have a nervous,
wondering what to do.
One time I wanted to
be with you, and
I'm alone with you, and ...

I want a new drug
that is not leaking.
And one of the many costs
of a year or a pill.

I want a new drug.
One does not disappear.
One night, I remain a man.
I do not let me sleep.

I have a nervous,
wondering what to do.
One time I wanted to
be with you, and
I'm alone with you, and ...

I have a nervous.
