Babelfishing Poetry: "Enable The Rotation" Hello, lovely to see you, so glad you've popped by my humble little blog! And since it's Friday, you must be here for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, alter the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem. Right? Right! So today we run the traditional Shaker work song " Simple Gifts " (video here ) through the mish-mashification process known as Babelfishing, with the following results. Enable The Rotation It is simply a gift. It is the gift of freedom. It is a gift. You should come! See the gift that ought to be . . . where? And we found just the place to yourself, it is the valley of joy and love-in. In that joy and love, shame we do not bow to the need to bend. To enable the rotation by the rotation will be our pleasure. Turn! We come round to the right.
