Babelfishing Poetry: "Personality Worship"

Hello! Friday, Friday, Friday! Woo-hoo, yee-haw, and all that jazz. Anyway, Friday means it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, have some fun with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

And today it's Living Colour's 1988 hit "Cult of Personality" (watch the video here). Enjoy.

Personality Worship

Look at my eyes, Mr. Saint,
and think, "What?"
Worship of personality.
I know you know the wrath of your dreams.

You're everything I want.
I, Mussolini.
It is the nature of worship,
such as John F. Kennedy.

I worship nature worship,
and the cult of personality.

Fluorescent lamps,
the Nobel Prize in physics.

When they say the glass is
a false reflection,
you come with me.
You may be me.
You might like me.
You may just be me.

I sell what you need.
I sell things that you should be.
God, I have things to sell; party!

I have smiling face on the TV screen.
I have a personality cult.
I still use my love.
And I'll tell you one of the three can.
I was a personality cult.

As Yoshifusutarin and Gandhi,
I will be personality worship,
nature worship, with
worship of individuality.

When the leader speaks,
that leader is dead.
You come with me.
You can only give you.

You gave me joy,
God gave me strength
and you have fame.

I need to be a people person.
I want to be a man.
I want everyone to be.
I have a cult of personality.
"I" is the nature of worship.
Personality worship,
the cult of personality.
