Babelfishing Poetry: "Tell Me What You Want, Napa"

Babelfishing Poetry: "Tell Me What You Want, Napa"

Hello blog peeps. How's everything going? Hunky-dory? Yes? Wonderful!

Without further ado, here's this week's Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, kludge the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week it's Fleetwood Mac's 1979 hit song, "Tusk" getting run through the topsy-turvy process known as Babelfishing (watch the video here). Enjoy.

Tell Me What You Want, Napa

Why me?
Why would he, if he's doing?
Call me. Why not?

Why, tell me why?
What happens when I call?
Please ask. ("And I will stay
at your hotel" is no reason why.)

His question is,
"What will happen?"
Why not ask at your throne?
I love you.

Tell me what you want, Napa,
stating that if you want.
Please tell us!
Choose Napa is only if you want.

I'm saying, "Napa Valley,
Napa Valley, Napa,
Napa Valley,
corner."
