Babelfishing Poetry: "The Other River Of Night Snow"

Babelfishing Poetry: "The Other River Of Night Snow"

Hello all!  Thank you for dropping by again, it's so nice to see you! I hope, wherever you are, you're keeping cool on this summer day.  Grab a refreshing beverage and get ready to enjoy some more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, massage the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week's featured song, from So-Cal indie rockers Cold War Kids, is "Rubidoux" (listen to song here).  Enjoy.

The Other River Of Night Snow

Then didbolt the door shed.
My friend, my Lord, life versus past disease is always a minority.
Chandelier party line.
AM radio gestures name with his eyes.

The other river of night snow.
Draft the laws wearing a snow wind glass.
Yes, yes; everything, Mother.
And the power in high places to reproduce our son.

Bigfoot over past ground, breakfast harmony flow;
fresh food, stuttering.
Slow night, regular gameplay, the only popular
blues two years ago. As such, he tells the story of City Hall.

Night.  Rubidoux Denmark delights.
Defender, and distant source of bourbon.
What do you expect, low love?
It is a good light.

Night.  Rubidoux Denmark,
far from the bourbon sauce.
