Babelfishing Poetry: "Why Not"

Babelfishing Poetry: "Why Not"

OK, boys and girls, ready or not, it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, revise the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week it's German New Wave band Trio's world-wide hit "Da Da Da" (watch video and read lyrics (click Show More) here, or listen to a version by alternative rock band Elastica here, or listen to a Spanish version by disc jockey Nacho Dogan here, or listen to a version by Slovak punk band Paradox here, or watch video by Polish pop band Formacja Nieżywych Schabuff here, or watch video by adorable little moppet Anan Anwar sing a Thai version of the song here).  Enjoy.

Why Not

HA, HA, Ah!
They are your judges.
Habib? HA.
We want you.
Then? Let's get out of here.

Just visit.
What are you doing? Let's go.
Here is what you need to know.
But I love it.

I love you, you love me.

Why not.
I love you, you love me
I do not like it.
Love me, or not.

Damn slow.
Ah, nothing works.

AHA formation East, Sir.
When it was all said and done
many years ago, running.

I don't like it.
I don't love.
