Emma Prusch Farm Park

Emma Prusch Farm Park

On Saturday D. and I visited Emma Prusch Farm Park. Here are some of the pics I took, including chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, geese, plus some exotic birds, as well as other non-avian things too.

It's a farm.  There are chickens.

There are other kinds of poultry too, including this guinea hen.

Bok bok!

Flap flap!

A weather vane on a picnic pavilion brings to mind William Tell.

Autumn colors on apricot trees stand out against the afternoon sky.

This orchard features rare fruits.

One of the many roosters.

A windmill twirls against the sky.

Bok bok!

The park features a large lawn for picnicking.

More autumn color, this time on a persimmon tree.

A pheasant pecks around in the community gardens.

A leucistic peahen perches on a fence.

Another peahen casts her vigilant eye in my direction.

A gorgeous peacock has the run of the garden.

Guinea fowl are chunky birds with eensy-weensy heads.

A cute little goat looks for a snack in the small animal corral.

This is a Toulouse goose, named after a place in France where the breed originated.

Oh hai.
