Emma Prusch Farm Park


On Saturday D. and I visited Emma Prusch Farm Park. Here are some of the pics I took, including chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, geese, plus some exotic birds, as well as other non-avian things too.


It's a farm.  There are chickens.





There are other kinds of poultry too, including this guinea hen.

A weather vane on a picnic pavilion brings to mind William Tell.





Autumn colors on apricot trees stand out against the afternoon sky.





This orchard features rare fruits.

The park features a large lawn for picnicking.





More autumn color, this time on a persimmon tree.





A pheasant pecks around in the community gardens.





A leucistic peahen perches on a fence.





Another peahen casts her vigilant eye in my direction.





A gorgeous peacock has the run of the garden.





Guinea fowl are chunky birds with eensy-weensy heads.





A cute little goat looks for a snack in the small animal corral.





This is a Toulouse goose, named after a place in France where the breed originated.
