Babelfishing Poetry: "Depressed Because Of The Baby"

Hello! Are you looking forward to the holiday weekend? Me too.

And with the weekend almost upon us, that means it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, alter the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

Here's Primitive Radio Gods' 1996 hit "Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth with Money in My Hand" (watch video here). Enjoy.

Depressed Because Of The Baby

I have been depressed because of the baby
during the day we met.
Young struggle to sleep.
The comic starred in the moonlight spill.
An old friend call and tell us where to meet
her face contact in Baltimore and Bourbon Street.

We sat outside overnight.
"I have never seen them around,"
said God, "but never me."
It is equipped with on Sunday,
took part in each newspaper.
Teresa and her full-time mob? Happy.

Du! All degrees are degrees, NN.

I am alive or ideas? Move!
Summer does not exist at all.
What? People say, "Prophet"?
If you die before you learn to talk,
you can pay as much as a few days,
all live sober, but half asleep?

In the life of the time, they know that he grew up.
Second time to kill before we drop millions of years.
You can ride the waves, but do not ask where to go.
You swim like lions through the sentence
and the zebra bathing his body.

Du! All degrees are degrees, NN.

I have been depressed because of the baby
during the day we met.
