Babelfishing Poetry: "Does Not Work"

Babelfishing Poetry: "Does Not Work"

Hello! Lovely to see you, thank you for stopping by, and woo-hoo, it's Friday already. Hooray! And Friday means more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, get silly with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

And since today is Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler's birthday, there could be no better song lyric to Babelfish this week than their big 1985 hit, "Money For Nothing" (watch video here). Enjoy.

Does Not Work

A.
Now, change.
Look, this is how you do it.
You can play the guitar, on MTV.
Does not work.
This is how you can do.
What chicks for free money?
I work, and this is not how you do it.
Let me tell you, a man is not stupid.
Blister on your thumb and bit,
maybe get a blister on his finger,
maybe.

You, microwave kitchen,
you must install your own transport.
We arrived.
We need to move these
refrigerators and televisions
for delivery of these colors.
Got a little warm in the makeup and earrings?
Yes, my friend, and this is God.
This is a hot little private aircraft.
It is worth noting that homosexuality is a millionaire.

I want to learn to play the guitar.
Learned to play drums for them.
Look at this, Mom,
this is the camera's razor.
A person can have fun.
And even if there is, what is it?
Hawaii sound, the drum beat like chimpanzees.
Does not work.
This is how you can do.
Anything.
You get the money, get a free woman.
