Sunday Bugs: Brown Lacewing

Family Hemerobiidae - Brown Lacewing.  Oh Hai!

This little critter hitchhiked into our house in a head of lettuce.  In addition to feeding on aphids, lacewings also feed on mites, thrips, soft scales, butterfly and moth eggs, and other soft-bodied prey.

It looks like this one has only one antenna, but its two antennae are actually stuck together from getting wet.  Both antennae were normal a few minutes after I let it go outside.
