Hello, lovely to see you, so glad you've popped by my humble little blog! And you must be here for this week's Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, goof around with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
So, this week it's Collective Soul's 1993 song "Shine" getting the Babelfish treatment (watch video here). Enjoy.
There Is No Love Without Air
Give me a word. Mark to me.
Tell me where I can see the show.
I ground the right to fly across the sky.
Tell me where I can see the show.
Oh, heavenly light.
Love is in the water.
There is no love without air.
"Click here to see the show."
I like it.
Show me how to teach you how to share.
I am where I teach.
I love it.
Oh, heavenly light.
