Babelfishing Poetry: "This, From Silence"
Babelfishing Poetry: "This, From Silence"
It's Friday! It seems like a minute ago it was Tuesday. How in blazes did that happen? It hardly seems possible, does it? Anyway, Friday it is, and that means more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, modify the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
And this week we feature the 1991 song by the Scottish band Texas, "In My Heart" (watch video here). (I wonder if somewhere in Texas there's a band called Scotland?
) Enjoy.
This, From Silence
Do you know what to do?
Emotions, dreams.
I want to rent submerged in the ocean.
More.
I know my heart.
I do not think to go home.
But I know my heart.
I . . . I'm afraid, Hakiruttene.
Kelvin, who also rainfall;
Ruth, still subject to change.
This,
from silence.
People do not believe me.
I repeat:
I am not ashamed of it.
Therefore, how,
and who at the same time,
knowledge, a variety
of reasons to walk?
Tell anyone.
More.
I know my heart.
I do not want to be able to see each other.
But I know my heart.
I . . . I'm afraid, Hakiruttene.
I am where I am, Sir;
I have been.
