It's Friday! It seems like a minute ago it was Tuesday. How in blazes did that happen? It hardly seems possible, does it? Well, be that as it may, it's once again time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, kludge the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
I heard this lovely little Supertramp ditty from 1977, "Give A Little Bit," on the radio a couple of days ago, so here it is (watch original songwriter and vocalist Roger Hodgson perform the song live here). Enjoy.
Oh, Yes, We Have A Song
We love feeding the supply.
I love our love of our supply.
Multi-yes. It should be divided.
A sum of individual smile.
We supply a love of our supply.
Ryoichi supply reason.
We supply organic time.
This man only, fox gave
(all the other by odd surprise).
We love feeding the supply of our love.
We feed our love of supply.
It is a time for sharing.
We came back. So?
Sense of shared remembrance of needed road.
Ryo arrives singing,
so we sing.
Oh, yes, we have a song.
