Babelfishing Poetry: "Night Long In Coming"

Hello! And how are you today? Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed? Sassy and brassy? Lively and perky? All of those put together? None of the above? A combination thereof? Something else entirely? Rather not say? Well, regardless of how you're doing, all are welcome to pull up a chair here for a couple of minutes and enjoy some Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, mix up the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week we feature a song from the Lightning Seeds' 1990 album Cloudcuckooland, "Pure" (watch video here). Enjoy.

Night Long In Coming

Night long in coming,
drop your rainbows.
You sparkle and gloss.

I know that there is no fortune.

The shade of color said that he daydreams.
South represents the moon in my eyes,
and love.

However, smiling in the dark lay
the heart of the Shooting Star,
the head, sleeping, fully at all times.

You're now a cry in his sleep.
I learned that you never wanted to cry,
selling dreams.

you must be
fully at all times.

Dreams and terrors, the cart-up season.
Wherever you are, for some reason,
you want it.

Empty leaves, a drop in your field.
Pleasure Lun to keep the cold at night,
and love.

If you do not see that the truth lies
with me, swimming around in your eye,
I have never.

I am here,
close to my mouth,
and believe it.

I know, love;
False River is not enough,
and that we are wasting our time.

I eye the stars.

I am the sky, the sky,
enough to push top stardust,
fully at all times.

New and new depths of the sea
tremble on the horizon.
A soft melody, Singh.

I'm nervous,
only if you respond.
