Babelfishing Poetry: "We Feed Sack, Us"

Babelfishing Poetry: "We Feed Sack, Us"

Hello!  And how are you lovely bloggity people today?  Great, I hope.  Welcome; you are just in time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, experiment with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week's song is by one of the pre-eminent 1960s "blue-eyed soul" rock groups, the Box Tops.  It's their #1 hit from 1967, "The Letter" (read lyrics and listen to song here).  Enjoy.

We Feed Sack, Us

Zhang punishment machine?
We supply one.

Express trains reach completion time;
collecting money?  Not.

Condensate return, not leave one Nissi fox,
house completion times we needed.

We feed sack, us.

Get some customers, see throughout us,
we get flowers.
More next time we reach our again.

Condensate return, not leave one Nissi fox,
house completion times we needed.

We feed sack, us.

One our trust seal, we function.
Once more we feed teacher.
Best times, Fude?

Research governor, Zhang punishment machine?
We supply one.

Express trains reach completion time;
collecting money?  Not.

Condensate return, not leave one Nissi fox,
house completion times we needed.

We feed sack, us.
