Babelfishing Poetry: "Kindness Of Vararman"

Hello bloggity peeps.  I hope you've all been fine and well? No upsets? No disasters? No tornadoes, floods, unexpected sinkholes?  I hope not, because that would be awful.  But you know what's not awful?  More Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, mix up the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem, that's what.

It rained a couple days ago, and it rained yesterday, so in keeping with the theme, this week features Randy Newman's despondent ditty "I Think It's Going To Rain Today" (listen to Randy Newman's rendition here (you get the feeling he's going to call Dr. Kevorkian as soon as he's done singing), or Dusty Springfield's righteous, super-soulful rendition here, or Cass Elliot's gospel-tinged version here).  Enjoy.

Kindness of Vararman

Windows break and corridor running empty.
Gray stripes, dead air.
Kindness of Vararman.
Be rain, I guess.

Even the latest styles.
Freeze leaves, smiling face.
Kindness of Vararman.
Now, we miss the rain.

annotation can be on my feet.
I think this will push the streets
as a way of friends.

No. of previous bright signs of sorrow.
To help those in trouble, more people demand.
Kindness of Vararman.
Be rain, I guess.
