We woke up yesterday to this.
A limb on our Chinese pistache tree cracked and probably would have fallen right off except for a branch underneath propping it up.
Within an hour of notifying the city, a Forestry Division crew showed up with their chipper, leaf blower, rake and shovel (and orange safety cones!).
Fifteen minutes later, the tree was back to normal.
This same tree lost another limb on the same side about 4 years ago following a record-breaking wind and rainstorm that swept through town and left a huge mess behind. We don't think this tree is going to last much longer.
