Heron's Head Park

Heron's Head Park

On Saturday D. and I had an errand to do in San Francisco and before heading home we took a brief stroll in Heron's Head Park on the edge of San Francisco Bay, where we saw the wastewater treatment system inside the park's EcoCenter, plus the stuff at neighboring Pier 96 and the wildlife in the marsh (wildflowers, western gulls, willets, whimbrels, coots, ruddy ducks, spotted sandpipers, a raven, and a brown pelican diving for fish).  Here are some of the pics I took.
