Baylands


Because it was a holiday, on Wednesday D. and I decided to spend a couple of hours at The Baylands Nature Preserve in Palo Alto.  It was a mild, clear day and the Bay was as smooth as glass.  We saw lots of gulls and other shorebirds, including green-winged teal, avocets, killdeer, yellowlegs, northern shovelers, coots, sandpipers, and a northern harrier.  Here are some of the pics I took.
