Babelfishing Poetry: "Me First"
Babelfishing Poetry: "Me First"
It's Friday! It seems like a minute ago it was Tuesday. How on Earth did that happen? It hardly seems possible, does it? Well, anyway, being Friday, it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, experiment with the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week, by special request from The Jan, it's Norwegian synth-pop band A-ha's hit "Take On Me" (watch video here). Enjoy.
Me First
Search.
I do not know what to do.
I have always said
I do not know.
God,
you are right; who do you like me?
If so, what kind?
Some,
when he stumbled.
However, the life coach
and
better than darkness of security.
I . . .
I . . .
I have a few days.
Oh, I said.
The only problem here is what?
"And you do not need to remember all of me."
Go,
I'm coming.
Me!
Me first.
