Windy Hill Open Space Preserve

On saturday D. and I took a walk through the woods on the Lost Trail at Windy Hill Open Space Preserve.  We saw lots of lovely wildflowers, including hedge nettle, thimbleberry (with developing berries), crimson columbine, milk maids, forest madia, wild strawberry, white globe lily, honeysuckle, lupine, forget-me-nots, blue dicks, starflower, red clintonia, cinquefoil and sticky monkeyflower.  We also saw western fence lizards and lots of checkerspot butterflies as well as a few bees and wasps.  Here are some of the pics I took.
