On Saturday D. and I went to San Francisco to enjoy the 360º views from Grand View Park and have dinner. Here are some of the pics I took.
We approach Grand View park from the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps, a beautiful mosaic staircase a block west of the park.
The view from the top of the stairs is amazing.
Bermuda buttercups grow along the path.
Even below the park's summit, the view is gorgeous.
From the summit, looking northeast.
Looking northwest.
Looking west toward the Pacific.
Overhead, a red-tailed hawk.
Underfoot, a bordered plant bug (Largus cinctus).
Common phacelia (Phacelia distans).
The Golden Gate Bridge towers are visible against the hills of Marin County.
