Lobos Creek Dunes

Lobos Creek Dunes

On a drizzly Saturday, after doing an errand in San Francisco, D. and I headed out to the Presidio to take a walk on the trail at the Lobos Creek Dunes, and I took a few pics before I felt too weak and we had to head back.

The trail.

Lupines were everywhere.

Two kinds of yarrow, common white and pink.

Yellow lupine.

Seaside daisy.

Soap root blossoms are open because it is overcast; they only open in low light.

White-crowned sparrows are singing and flitting about in the brush.
