Coyote Hills Regional Park

On Sunday D. and I went to Coyote Hills Regional Park to walk parts of the Nike, Red Hill and Bayview Trails, and I took a few pics before I got too tired and we had to come home.

Looking southeast from the Nike Trail.

The Nike Trail ascends a hill that used to be a Nike missile site during the Cold War Era.  All traces of the military site have been removed now.

Looking over to the Red Hill Trail ascending Glider Hill.

Looking west across San Francisco Bay.

Another view of Glider Hill, where radio-controlled model airplanes are often flown.

Looking up at the summit of Nike Hill in the late afternoon sunlight.

These little mushrooms are BFFs.

Gumplant makes a splash of yellow in the deep shade on Nike Hill.
