Fremont Older Open Space Preserve: World's Shortest Trip

Fremont Older Open Space Preserve: World's Shortest Trip

On a clear and cold Sunday, D. and I thought it would be nice to take a walk in Fremont Older Open Space Preserve.  But after a mere half mile I was exhausted and we had to turn around and come back.  Here are the few pics I took while we were there.

Oxalis reaches toward the light in the wintry forest.

Toyon berries glow in the chilly sunlight.

The junction of the Seven Springs Trail.

Two (barely visible) acorn woodpeckers poke around atop a power pole.
