Glen Canyon Part 1

On Saturday, after doing an errand in San Francisco, D. and I visited Glen Canyon to take a walk on the Islais Creek Trail and see the "fairy tree."  Here is Part 1 of the pics I took (Part 2 here).

The Islais Creek Trail.

Bermuda buttercup.

Miner's lettuce is said to be edible.

The fairy tree, where people leave offerings in the "fairy aerie."

Some of the things people have left for the fairies.

Don't steal from the fairies!

Pretty blue fleurs bloom in the shade next to Islais Creek.

Fringecup (Tellima grandiflora) reaches up into a shaft of light.
