On Saturday, after doing an errand in San Francisco, D. and I took a little walk around the marina at Oyster Point in South San Francisco. Here are some of the pics I took.
The pier is busy with people fishing.
A western gull rests on a dock.
A United jet takes off overhead from San Francisco International Airport, only 2 1/2 miles away.
The South San Francisco Ferry Terminal Concourse, closed and locked up for the weekend.
San Bruno Mountain is visible beyond the marina.
An Alaska Airlines jet takes off.
A tern comes in to land on the marina's visitors' dock.
A black-bellied plover among the terns on the dock.
A Bell helicopter flies back and forth. Several companies give helicopter tours of San Francisco and the Bay.
Keep off the . . . water?
Keef Off?
Another United jet rises above the Bay. Planes go overhead every couple of minutes.
A Canada goose sits next to the trail.
Another look at the marina before we head back.
