Babelfishing Poetry: "Seeds For Moses And The Moon"

Babelfishing Poetry: "Seeds For Moses And The Moon"

Hello! Are you looking forward to the weekend? Me too, especially now that the recent blistering heatwave is gone.  As my mitochondrial disorder gets worse the more heat-intolerant I get, so heat waves create extra misery for me.  But no matter the weather, it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, alter the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

Today, by special request from The Jan, it's the song "Let's Face The Music And Dance" (watch clip from film here, or listen to Bea Arthur's version here, or listen to the inimitable Shirley Bassey sing the song here, or listen to the First Lady of Song Ella Fitzgerald's rendition here, or listen to a live performance of the song by Brazilian musician Caetano Veloso here).  Enjoy.

Seeds For Moses And The Moon

Before you solve the problem of infection
to produce seeds for Moses and the Moon,
the child of the brother of the child.
Dance and dance.

Leadership.
It's not that much
if there are other options.
Big diversity scheme.

The moon is short.
This song is easy.
Could be more,
if it is so creamy-cream.
Men and women,
fruit and vegetable oil.
