Babelfishing Poetry: "Five Cents Or Ten Fruit"

Hello!  And how are you today?  Good?  Yes?  No?  In-between?  Rather not say? Keeping it a secret? It's a mystery?  Being coy about it? None of the above?  Regardless of your answer, it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, change the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

This week's featured song, chosen at random, is Hank Williams' "Hey, Good Lookin'" (listen to Hank sing it here, or listen to Johnny Cash's version here, or listen to Ray Charles' jazzy version here, or listen to The Residents' trippy, atonal interpretation here, or listen to Jimmy Buffett's "Gulf-and-western" style rendition here).  Enjoy.

Five Cents Or Ten Fruit

He said to the Cook, "What is God?"
What a guy!  He went to cook!
Oh, I do not return sweet baby and snakes.
Where is the new discovery held?

Special hot rod beauty and two US dollar bonds,
so know the right slopes.
Free drink recoil and dance
with quaint credit thoughts.

Scattered pines, a finger of standing, two lips, full ability, ceaselessly.
What messages are saved?
You can only cook.
How to achieve stability in the company?

Removing Prophet, throw a fence,
then five cents or ten fruit.
I know he keeps the old cover.
Your name is not marked all pages?

What God said to get his other editorial?
Kind people. So, people leaving cooks?
