Los Gatos Creek Trail

On Sunday D. and I took a walk along part of the Los Gatos Creek Trail.  Here are some of the pics I took.

Stands of statice grow along much of the trail.

Los Gatos Creek.

A Canada goose swims toward the far bank of the creek.

Sow thistle, and hawksbeard.

Milk thistles grow abundantly along the trail.

A tiny fly visits a milk thistle blossom.

Graffiti under the Highway 85 overpass.

Another Canada goose watches us from the side of the trail.

The goose seems to have staked out that section of the trail as its territory.

It won't move out of the way even when people pass right next to it.

Another look at Los Gatos Creek.

A little funnel weaver spider rests at the edge of its funnel, waiting for prey.

The weir near Lark Ave., where we turn around to go back.
