Once again, it's time for more Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, revise the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.
This week's featured song, one of my favorite Madonna songs, dating back to 1998, when she was still fun, is her electronic dance hit "Ray Of Light" (watch Madonna's video here, or listen to an earlier, much different version by Curtiss Maldoon, called "Sepheryn," here, or listen to new wave band Sigue Sigue Sputnik's Hi-NRG cover here, or watch Iggy Pop perform a clunky, heavy-metal-style version during Madonna's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony here). Enjoy.
