What I Saw Today

What I Saw Today

Today D. and I saw the thatch of dead fronds in a nearby palm tree quivering and rustling noisily. Little waves of movement swept through the curtain of dead foliage as the scrabbling, rattling and pitter-pattering noises increased.

Eventually 2 squirrels emerged to chase each other in spirals down the trunk.

The birds and the bees -- and the squirrels too! -- get active early in the year here in Silicon Valley.
