Babelfishing Poetry: "My Dad Is White"

Babelfishing Poetry: "My Dad Is White"

Hello all!  So nice to see you. Come in and have a look around -- the kettle is on, make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, take the weight off your feet and get ready to enjoy some Babelfishing poetry, where I take song lyrics, run them through an on-line translator such as (but not necessarily) Babelfish, change the punctuation a bit, and wind up with a quirky kind of poem.

Country guitarist and singer Junior Brown brings us this week's feature,  "Highway Patrol" (watch video here).  Enjoy.

My Dad Is White

Vehicles to capture women?  No.
Not only that, my head, man, and road and die, like food, be careful.
Know how driving is going to break first.
Government follows through, reaching his construction use.

Blind people, I know you.
My dad is white.
Flashing red, and I cried
every day and every night in the school business.
But sticking to the handshake, glossy, sitting right,
they made March.

What delights! You handle high speed! Do you need to leave and snakes?
Epidendrum all, picture way will lead you to quickly escape.
Here, this year, the boy all on our side of the room.

Sell high velocity?  No way, Papa.
So low.
More pot these days.
