Pt. San Bruno - The Return

On Sunday, after doing an errand in San Francisco, D. and I returned to Pt. San Bruno to see the rest of the trail from there to Oyster Point (because we had to turn back the last time due to my wheelchair battery malfunctioning).  Here are some of the pics I took.

Part of the Genentech corporate campus next to the trail.

A western gull forages in the mud as the tide goes out.

Brown pelicans soar over the waves.

A small cove next to the trail.

California buckwheat in bloom.

A lone coot swims in the shallow water at the edge of the Bay.

A huge KLM double-decker jet takes off from San Francisco International Airport, a couple of miles to the south.

Looking north.  Some of the San Francisco skyline is visible right of center.

A couple of killdeer poke around in the mud flats.

A snowy egret strides through the mud.

A Southwest jet flies overhead on takeoff.

A harbor seal pokes its snout out of the water for a moment.

A couple of western gulls at the Oyster Point marina.

Another seal glides past Oyster Point.
