University Of San Francisco

On Sunday, after doing an errand in San Francisco, D. and  spent a little time at the Lone Mountain campus of the University of San Francisco before going to dinner.  There wasn't a whole lot to see there, but here are a few of the pics I took.

A look toward the Studio Theater.

The tower of the Lone Mountain main building.

Poppies in a flower bed.

A pair of red-tailed hawks perch on the cross atop the building.

Looking toward downtown San Francisco, with the Salesforce Tower rising prominently above the other buildings.

A little cherub on a statue has suffered some damage.

Another look at the hawks.

This spire at the rear of the main building isn't as good for hawks to sit on, I guess.

A view of the Farallon Islands, barely visible through the haze, 32 miles out at sea.

At the restaurant where we have dinner, I get bored waiting for our order, so I take a quick still life pic.
