On Sunday, after doing an errand in San Francisco, D. and I spent a little time in SFMOMA looking at some photography exhibits before meeting up with some friends we hadn't seen in over 10 years for tea and cookies. Here are some of the pics I took.
A view of the oculus, with a gigantic snake-like sculpture hanging from the ceiling.
A ticket scanner chats with two museum-goers on their way up to the galleries.
Exit signs glow above people crowding the Brassaï exhibit.
One of the Brassaï galleries.
Ceiling lights and another exit sign.
Lights above the seating for the 3rd floor coffee bar look a little like pairs of eyes.
The galleries for the Louis Stettner exhibit have been painted periwinkle.
Elefantenkopf (Elephant Head) is a sculpture by Johannes Brus, whose photographs are also on display but which don't interest me as much as the sculptures.
Blaues Pferd Auf Kapitel (Blue Horse on Capital) is another Johannes Brus sculpture.
