Today D. and I drove 2 1/2 hours to Sacramento to see one of his images of the Golden Gate Bridge displayed in the California Museum for History, Women and the Arts (it's in their permanent collection). On the way we saw green hillsides from the recent rains. Some of the taller, distant ones had white dustings of snow, from the unusually cold temperatures lately.
We also saw whole hillsides yellow with acacia trees in bloom. We saw other hillsides yellow with daffodils in bloom. We saw other hillsides yellow with wild mustard in bloom.
It was a green, white and yellow day (with a little gray and blue as well from a partly cloudy sky).
