On Sunday, after doing a couple of errands in San Francisco, D. and I spent a bit of time in the Presidio, in the park at the Letterman Digital Arts Center before having dinner and returning home. Here are some of the pics I took.
Lots of flowers in bloom on the grounds.
Some of the cherry trees are still in bloom.
I'm not sure why they would need to shut off the creek that runs in a man-made bed through the park.
The pond and lawns are popular with Canada geese.
We wander out of the park and into another area of the Presidio, which has an abandoned feel to it.
We find a paradoxical sign on our way back to the park.
A statue of Philo Farnsworth, inventor of television, contemplating his creation.
At the crepe restaurant in my old neighborhood.
