Coyote Hills Regional Park
Coyote Hills Regional Park
On Sunday D. and I visited the Meadowlark Trail at Coyote Hills Regional Park, and here are some of the pics I took.
Looking across South Marsh to one of the hills.

A white-tailed kite perches on a tree next to the marsh.

Looking up and down the Meadowlark Trail.

As we ascend the Meadowlark Trail, we garin a view of San Francisco Bay to the east.

The hills are turning brown and the dead grasses are turning into tinder.

A turkey vulture patrols the hillside.

There used to be a Nike missile site on one of those hilltops during the Cold War.

A view to the northeast.

An East Bay Regional Park District helicopter circles the hillside a couple of time, then flies off to the north.

A trio of white pelicans flies overhead.

Sheep at work!

The sheep drawn on the sign has googly eyes.

Sheep at work!
