Golden Gate Park Lakes

Golden Gate Park Lakes

Last Monday D. and I had an errand to do in San Francisco, and then we visited three lakes in Golden Gate Park.  Here are some of the pics I took.

Elk Grove Lake.

The ducks in Elk Grove Lake are very friendly.

Blackberries are in blossom.

Many trees are coming into bud.

A strange tableau of a toy SWAT truck on a water fountain next to the path.

Wild radish.

Metson Lake.

Another friendly mallard.

A red-eared slider pokes its snout above the water.

Another look at Metson Lake, which has a strange green color.

One of the many irises in bloom around the shore.

Mallard Lake.

Blackberry blossoms, one of which has a bee visitor.

Blackberries are starting to ripen already on this vine.
